We Asked Our Graduates What Almost Stopped Them from Enrolling
What they thought:
“I have a humanities background and was never good at math. I thought programming wasn’t for people like me.”
What they discovered:
91% of Habsida students started without an IT education, and 32% had no degree at all.
What they thought:
“I’m 34, and everyone else seems to be in their twenties. I worried it was too late and that I’d hold the group back.”
What they discovered:
37% of our students are over 30. One of our most successful graduates started at 42.
What they thought:
“I’d already dropped out of two online courses. I was sure I’d pay and quit again after a month.”
What they discovered:
Your personal mentor tracks your progress through deadlines, feedback sessions, and live calls—making it easier to keep going than give up.
What they thought:
“Without Korean, a visa, or a degree, who would hire me? I thought foreigners had no chance here.”
What they discovered:
60% of students have beginner-level Korean, and 20% don’t have a work visa—yet 80–92% of graduates find a job within six months.
What they thought:
“It was a significant investment for me. I was afraid I’d pay and get no results.”
What they discovered:
Pay monthly instead of paying the full tuition upfront. You see what you’re paying for every month, and the full course cost can be recovered with one month’s salary.

Habsida is an online educational institute which provides a robust 6 to 8-months backend programming course in Java, offering a deep dive into application development. From foundational Java skills to advanced project building, the curriculum ensures comprehensive learning. Despite being midway through the course, my confidence in the institute remains high due to its effective teaching methods and valuable insights provided. This is the best online course I have ever found, with its main advantages lying in its time flexibility and exceptional mentorship. Personally, I feel a tangible growth in my knowledge and skills. Notably, in Korea, this is the sole institute offering programming courses in English medium, making it an invaluable resource for international learners like myself.
Andrew, 44, Canada
In Korea, I was lucky enough to be working as an English-Russian translator. One day, I came across the Habsida School and it was love at first sight! The school's program is really versatile and gives you the chance to gain knowledge and skills while combining them with your current job. What's really great about the school is that it has very strong support from mentors. And perhaps most importantly, the school helps you find a job!
Sergey, 28, Russia
I came to Korea last year, and it was such an amazing experience! Before that, I worked as a data analyst in the banking industry back home. After studying at Habsida, I was lucky enough to find a great job in Korea after just a couple of weeks of searching. I make over $3,000 USD a month, and I don't even speak Korean!
Daniel, 26, United Kingdom
I was on the hunt for a new career and was looking for some programming courses. I was so excited to find Habsida online and in English! After 10 months of training, I was so excited to find a job in just a few weeks!
Hussen, 26, Uzbekistan
I was really hoping to get a job right after university in Korea, but it just didn't work out. It all started when I came across Habsida ads on social media and got really interested! Then I applied and was accepted! Once I'd completed the training, I was invited to an interview, and after a little while, I was offered a great job in a startup company!
Olena, 26, Ukraine
The pace of the course was pretty intense at times, but it was totally doable! Just a heads-up: this course won't do everything for you. You'll get a shovel, but you'll have to do the digging yourself. It was all so worth it, and I'm so proud of myself for finishing! I still can't believe it all worked out!
Irina, 28, Uzbekistan
"In April 2022, I started training at Habsida. I was lucky enough to be able to stay at home with my little one while I studied in the evenings and while he was sleeping. In just eight months, I learned web and graphic design! I was so lucky to find a job in a company in Seoul within a month! There were even a few options!
Sergey, 32, Uzbekistan
Training took me about seven months, but it was totally worth it! After the training, I had to prepare for interviews and write my CV. I was lucky enough to be hired after several interviews!
Kiran, 25, Nepal
As an international student in South Korea nearing the end of my studies, I found myself lost and uncertain about my post-graduation plans. However, discovering Habsida, a coding academy, was a turning point for me. I promptly enrolled in their Java backend course, and even though I'm only halfway through, I'm feeling optimistic about my future. Habsida has equipped me with skills that my university education couldn't provide, giving me newfound confidence . The academy's reputation for exceptional mentors and comprehensive programs further solidified my decision to enroll. Habsida has become a beacon of hope, filling the gaps in my knowledge and preparing me for a successful career in the tech industry.
Naqeeb, 27, Malaysia
Towards finishing my university studies, I found that it was hard to find a job suitable for my background. When I was looking to venture into IT, I stumbled upon HABSIDA and decided to give it a try. The thing that got me hooked was the ISA policy where we have to pay a percentage of our income only if we get a job in IT. Otherwise, it is completely free. After enrolling in the course, I discovered that the course covers the essential skills that are highly demanded in the industry. I highly recommend to give HABSIDA a try if you're either looking to get a first job or even switching career.
Shatlyk, 34, Turkmenistan
I recently completed the Java course on Habsida and was really impressed with the quality of the content and teaching style. The lessons are well-structured, making complex concepts easy to understand, even for beginners. The hands-on exercises and real-world projects helped me gain confidence in coding, and the support from instructors was excellent. If you're looking for an effective way to learn Java, Habsida is definitely worth considering!
Zaha, 37, Lybia
I recently completed the Java course on Habsida, and it has been an incredible experience. As a student from Libya, I was worried about learning programming online, but the course exceeded my expectations. The lessons were clear, practical, and easy to follow. A special thank you to Kate, my mentor, whose guidance, encouragement, and patience made all the difference. She was always available to answer my questions and provided valuable feedback that helped me improve my skills. Thanks to her support, I now feel confident in my Java abilities. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn Java effectively!"
